Patricia Donaldson, MSN RNTrainer / Speaker / Consultant

Patricia is a 2008 graduate of the University of Phoenix in Arizona with a Master’s Degree in the Science of Nursing-Healthcare Education. Her twenty-plus year professional career has encompassed several specialties including medical telemetry, behavioral health, crisis intervention and chemical dependency nursing.

Patricia retired from Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio, in 2016, after eight years, as an Assistant Professor in the baccalaureate nursing program, as course coordinator for Promotion of Mental Health. Recently, she has become a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor working for Bridge Health Services.

Her personal philosophy asserts that across all aspects of nursing in providing optimal client/family care, it has been clearly demonstrated that all stakeholders must achieve and maintain relatively consistent, positive coping skills and confident self-esteem perspectives in order to productively navigate day-to-day functioning. One way to reach this desired objective is to validate and address all feelings, behaviors and emotions with understanding and compassion while sharing knowledge and information.
